Happy Friday y'all! Hope everyone had a good week and survived the freezing temperatures! Be sure to check out the Hozier and George Ezra videos because if you dig 'em tickets go on sale today for the 3rd show they added in Nashville on March 17th and they are sure to sell out like the other 2 did! I am  beyond excited to see these guys live with my mom (she's a pretty cool lady)! In other news, I'm excited to have a weekend at home and to celebrate an early Thanksgiving with my guy and his family! Follow along on Instagram for the details on the delicious dishes! Have a wonderful weekend.

Set the Table

For those of you who know me, you know I am  a serious planner and dedicated list maker, so you better believe that when I offered to host Thanksgiving for my family and friends I got busy with my pen and paper planning every thing from the menu to the tablescape and place settings. Above are some of the images that are inspiring my Thanksgiving Table! Can't wait to have my loved ones under my roof hosting my very first Thanksgiving.

Being in chilly Chicago over Halloween weekend for a friend's wedding got me in the bundling spirit. I when a scarf can double as a blanket and this one does just that! Y'all also know I can't stop wearing my leather jacket since you see it all the time here, but seriously it is my prized jacket! Today I decided to dress it up a bit with a maxi skirt and some heels, I am convinced it goes with everything. What do you think?

I am a lover of all things vintage, so I was very excited when this outfit came together the way it did! I felt like I was channeling a 50's movie star wearing this, from the jumpsuit to my cat-eye sunnies. You must know I searched high and low for the perfect jumpsuit and finally found it on ASOS which has an amazing selection.  I have been wearing this one every chance I get since since the jersey material is so comfortable, but still manages to fit like a glove. The final touch that brought this outfit to the next level was the cape, which I miraculously found at the Nashville Flea Market back in June for a mere $40!! I  have been anxiously awaiting the end of the indian summer to wear it and it looks like the wait is over!
